We are extra excited about December’s First Friday Art Stroll because this time it coincides with Christmas Village. Plus, the weather has been great and perfect for an evening stroll with family and friends!
Since its beginning in 1962, Christmas Village has become one of our favorite parts of the Christmas tradition.
Featuring more the sixty Christmas houses and millions of festive lights, Ogden’s Christmas Village is the winter wonderland of your grandmother’s collection brought to life. It all starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving with the Electric Light Parade and Opening Ceremony.
This month we’re going to suggest an alternate starting point. Because there’s some construction on the street and in the parking lot by the Summit Hotel, we encourage you to park in the parking lot on the backside of Salon Blue/All About Socks. Parking is free and well lit. Enter from Lincoln or Wall Avenue to park in this lot between 24th and 25th Streets. From there, head over to Whitespace for your first stop on our self-guided art stroll tour.
